Ginger Powder Making Machine (Dry Ginger / Sonth)
Thanvi's Commercial Impact Pulverizer grinds dried ginger (sonth) into consistent, fine powder for spice, Ayurvedic, and beverage-flavoring use. Here's what the material is used for, how the machine is built to handle it, and real per-model capacity figures.
What Ginger Powder Is Used For
Dried ginger, ground into sonth powder, is used in spice blends, Ayurvedic and herbal formulations, and as a flavoring input for beverages and confectionery. Because it's a lower-volume, higher-value material compared to bulk grains, buyers typically prioritize consistent fineness and minimal wastage over raw throughput.
Built for Food-Grade Continuous Grinding
Every Thanvi Impact Pulverizer built for ginger runs FSSAI-compliant Stainless Steel 304 contact surfaces. The build includes a Whizzer Air Classifier, which separates any coarser particles that haven't reached your target fineness and returns them for re-grinding, plus a cyclone dust-bag collection system for the finished powder. Note that the 12", 16", and 20" chamber sizes aren't offered for this material -- see the capacity table below for the sizes we do build.
Real Capacity by Chamber Size
Thanvi's pulverizer is custom-built per material, capacity, and mesh fineness rather than sold as a fixed named model. Reference points from the actual Ginger capacity chart across our chamber sizes:
| Chamber Size | Approx. Output (Kg/Hr) |
|---|---|
| 18" | 40 |
| 25" Economical | 160 |
| 32" Standard | 200 |
| 36" Brd. Cham. | 250 |
| 42" Giant | 300 |
The calculator on our impact pulverizer page matches your required Kg/Hr to the right chamber size automatically once you enter Ginger as the material.
