What Moong Dal Is Used For
Moong dal is one of the most commonly milled pulses in India's dal mill trade -- moong dal flour goes into papad, snacks, and specialty flour blends, alongside direct sale as split and whole dal. Dal mill operators running an impact pulverizer alongside their milling line use it specifically for the flour-grade output, where a consistent, food-safe grind matters more than raw dal splitting.
Built for Food-Grade Continuous Milling
Every Thanvi Impact Pulverizer built for moong dal runs FSSAI-compliant Stainless Steel 304 contact surfaces. The build includes a Whizzer Air Classifier, which separates any coarser particles that haven't reached your target fineness and returns them for re-grinding, plus a cyclone dust-bag collection system for the finished flour. Note that the 36" and 42" chamber sizes aren't offered for this material -- see the capacity table below for the sizes we do build.
